Channing Tatum's Manager Joins His Production Company

Veteran manager Peter Kiernan has joined Channing Tatum and Reid Carolin as a partner in their newly named Free Association production company.

Kiernan, who has been partner and board member at Management 360, has co-managed Tatum and Carolin for over a decade with William Choi. He will oversee the day to day operations of Free Association and work to expand the company. Tatum, Carolin and Free Association will continue to be repped by Choi, Darin Friedman and others at 360.

“We are thrilled for Peter,” the 360 board said. “He’s been an integral part of 360 since its inception.”

Tatum and Carolin have produced “Magic Mike,” which was also scripted by Carolin; “21 Jump Street” and “22 Jump Street.” They are working with Warner Bros. on the “Magic Mike” sequel with Greg Jacobs directing for a release date of June 26, 2015.

Free Association is also adapting and producing Jo Nesbo’s crime thriller “The Son.” The company also has a feature development deal at Sony and is working on Evel Knievel biopic “Evel,” written by Carolin with Tatum set to star and Mike De Luca and Dana Brunetti also producing.

Tatum and Carolin are also working with Sony on “Lodi,” based on the story of Lou Peters, a small-town Cadillac dealer and family man who goes undercover to take down a mob boss. Neil Meron and Craig Zadan are co-producing.

The company recently signed a deal with MRC for TV.

“Chan, Reid, Bill and I have grown up together in this business and we are brothers,” Kiernan said. “We have shared a common vision for over a decade and this new partnership feels like a natural evolution.”
